Before the general election, we were promised that our A&E department would not be downgraded. We welcomed that news. But we remain concerned that COVID-19 may be used as a cover for downgrades.
The latest news suggests that we won’t have a fully functioning A&E department until March. This leaves Cheltenham residents facing eight-mile trips along the A40 at times of medical crisis - to get help they were promised they could receive on their doorstep.
Please sign our petition calling for the restoration of the A&E department at the earliest possible moment.
